THE PLAYER’S PATH

Play it. Review it.
Unlock what’s next.

Your time with a game is worth more than a quick thumbs-up. SteamRedeem turns useful, honest reviews into points you can spend on Steam keys. Bring your own perspective, help another player decide what to play, and put a new game in your queue.

Four moves to your next game

01

Connect your Steam library

Create your account, connect Steam from My Rewards, and refresh your public game library. That connection helps us verify the games you review and makes you eligible for the daily points bonus.

02

Build your point balance

Check in for your daily bonus while you look for your next game. Once you start publishing qualifying reviews, those add points too. Your balance is always visible in My Rewards.

03

Pick a game, claim a key

Search the game catalog, open a game page, and check its point cost and live key availability. When you redeem, the key appears in My Rewards and its cost comes out of your balance.

04

Play. Then tell us how it went.

Give the redeemed game enough time to surprise you—or disappoint you. Once it’s eligible, submit your review. A moderator checks it before publication; qualifying reviews earn points when they go live.

YOUR TAKE IS THE MAIN EVENT

Write the review you would want to read.

Tell us what the game actually feels like to play. Where did it shine? Where did it lose you? Specific moments, clear examples, and a point of view help other players far more than a plot recap or a wall of praise.

The review form gives you room for a title, summary, overall score, and your main write-up. Add at least three pros, three cons, and three scored facets such as gameplay, visuals, or sound. You can add more copy sections when the story needs them.

Use your own voice. A thoughtful negative review is just as welcome as a positive one. Reviews assembled from generic or AI-written filler don’t help fellow players find their next favorite.

Before you hit Start

Which games can I review for points?

Use a game key you’ve redeemed through SteamRedeem that hasn’t already been reviewed. The game also needs to appear in your connected, public Steam library.

When do points arrive?

After a moderator publishes a qualifying review. Submitting it puts the review in the moderation queue; it doesn’t award points immediately.

Can I redeem any time?

Keys depend on current stock and your point balance. Redemption and review waiting periods may apply. The game page and My Rewards show you where things stand.

Are these Valve Steam Points?

No. SteamRedeem points are this site’s reward balance. SteamRedeem is not affiliated with Valve or Steam. You spend them here on available keys, then activate on Steam.
